STARDUST
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is a water-based interior decorative paint with a sandy texture, pearlescent and matt-shiny effect.
SURFACES TO BE APPLIED
All surfaces to be applied must be able to bear the product, solid, smooth, free of oil/dust, clean and dry. On uneven and satin plaster style surfaces that are weak and easily deformed, the surface must be smoothed and strengthened by applying at least 2 layers of Nippon Paint Interior Wall Putty.
APPLICATION
The application surfaces must be smooth, solid, moisture-free and self-supporting. The surface must be made smooth and smooth with Nippon Paint Interior Paste. 24 hours after applying Nippon Paint Interior Putty, the surface should be sanded with fine-toothed sandpaper (180-220 grit). The sanding dust on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned with a damp cloth and white colored Nippon Paint Paste Primer should be applied to the surface with a satin roller. If application will be made on old painted, smooth, dry and self-supporting surfaces, the surface should first be sanded with fine-toothed sandpaper (180-220 grit). The sanding dust on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned with a damp cloth. If it is a synthetic surface, Nippon Paint Interior Transition Primer should be applied, and for water-based surfaces, Nippon Paint Putty Primer should be applied with a satin roller. The minimum temperature for the environment and surface during application should be + 10 °.
After the surface preparation is completed, the edges of the area where Nippon Paint Stardust will be applied should be taped with masking tape. Nippon Paint Paste Primer, colored in accordance with the selected Nippon Paint Stardustengine, should be applied in 2 layers with the help of a satin roller. In primer applications, a 4-hour drying time must be allowed between coats. 4 hours after the application of colored primer, a single layer of Nippon PaintStardust product is applied to the prepared surface with the help of a brush, with cross movements, and the pattern work is done. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes, then polish the surface with the help of a soft sponge (plasterer's sponge) and make the final process.
Our products must be applied on infrastructure surfaces constructed in accordance with the Construction General Technical Specification No. 26568 dated 30.06.2007.
CONSUMPTION
Depending on the surface smoothness and absorbency, 5-7 m² of space can be painted with 1 Liter in a single coat. For exact consumption, a controlled sample study should be performed.
STORAGE
It can be stored for 3 years in its unopened package, in a cool and dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Close the lid of the package immediately after use to keep air tight.
